Amoudara-Votani-Dialecto-Vellos-Asprokklissia-Amoudara
The route is 19 km and its duration is estimated at 5 hours. Walkers walk at an altitude of less than 600 meters in terrain with very slight altitudes. The route is easy and does not require any special physical condition. A bicycle can be used as well as a car as visitors can move on the provincial road. Starting from the settlement of Ammoudara, you follow the provincial road to Votany. Arriving at Votany, on the right is the Church of St. John where you can rest. Continue to the Dialecto. Here you can leave the provincial road and follow the riverside to the Velos. Do not leave the settlement if you do not visit the cascade. The villagers will give you instructions to get to the point of the waterfall. Ask the residents to give you information about the path leading to Asprokklissia. One kilometer after Asprokklissia you can follow the Xenia stream which will take you to Amoudara.
Bridge Argos Orestiko-Lachanokipi -Lakkomata-kremasti-Bridge of Argos Orestiko
Outside the city of Argos Orestiko and on the road leading to Lahanokipi, the visitor faces the old bridge. The length of the proposed route reaches 14 km and its duration reaches 4 hours. The route is characterized by moderate difficulty and requires relatively good physical condition. Starting from the old bridge of Argos Orestiko, you go to the village of Lakkomata, following the provincial road. There you ask the inhabitants to point you the path to Kremasti. After 3.2 km you will find yourself on two paths. Following the left path, after 1.5 km the path will take you to a crossroads of the provincial road network. You will follow the provincial road to return to Argos Orestiko.
Kastanophyto-Petropoulaki - (Niki) - Kastanophyto
The length of the route is 13 km while its duration is estimated at 3 hours. The route is at an altitude of 1000 to 1350 meters and the altitude difference is more than 300 meters. It is characterized as difficult and requires very good physical condition. Starting from the village of Kastanofyto, follow the path leading to the Orosimo peak. But ask village residents to point you to the path. Arriving at the Orosimo, follow Northeast direction to get to Petropoulaki. Do not leave the settlement if you do not get through the waterfalls.
Next to Aliakmon
Beneath the old bridge of Argos Orestiko, begins a short ride along Aliakmonas and among many trees. After a few minutes you will reach the first hole and along the way you will see more. All were made by human hand. The holes were made by slaves during the Ottoman domination to bring water to the Argos Orestiko watermill from neighboring settlements. Few ruins that you find along the way testify to the existence of the Argos Orestiko watermill.
Nostimo - Agios Ilias - Zevgostasio – Spilea - Nostimo
A little further outside the village of Nostimo you will find the path that leads directly to Agios Elias (note: the path coming out of Nostimo has two directions, you will take the left path). Arriving in the village of Agios Ilias, you can spend some time visiting the Monastery of Agios Athanasios of Zikovistas dating back to the 17th century. In the village, ask to point out the path leading to the Zevgostasio. And here is a stance imposed not only to rest but also to visit the Holy Temple of the Assumption of the Virgin that is of equal value to the previous monastery. Leaving the Zevgostasio you will take the path leading to the Caves after climbing the top of Monokastania and admiring a unique view. Arriving at the Caves you can visit the Holy Temple of Agia Kyriaki, which keeps images inside since 1776. Finally from the Caves you will get the picturesque and relatively restful path that leads directly to your starting point.
Asprokklissa - Nostimo - Asproneri – Asprokklissia
Starting from Asproklisia you take the path leading to the Petrified Forest. Once you reach the Petrified Forest and admire one more of the wonders of nature and time, take the path leading to the village of Nostimo. There you can visit the Museum of Petrified Forest, where you can find unique finds. Leaving behind you the Delicious, take the path leading to Asproneri (note that this path is just outside of Nostimo, at 500 m. You will find yourself in front of a crossroads, follow the road straight to the right.) After 3 km you will still find Follow the right path that will bring you to Asproneri). Arriving at Asproneri, follow the stream of Xeria until its intersection with the provincial road of Asprokklissia. At this point, leave the stream and follow the provincial road that will take you back to Asprokklissia.
Vrachos - Langa - Observatory – Vrachos
Starting from the Vrachos, you head towards Langa. In the village you will ask about the Observatory. Arriving at the Observatory and admiring the unparalleled view, you will descend by taking the path leading to Asprorema. As soon as you reach Asprorema you will follow the water direction until the first stream you find on your right. At the end of the stream you continue in the same direction until you find yourself in front of a dirt road. Taking the dirt road to the right you will be driven back to Vrachos.
